Sarah Gürsoy-Heuser current practice explores ideas of identity, personal and collective memory. Her practice is process led: she pushes her imagery through different printmaking methods, embracing the unintended until the final ‘composition’ emerges.
She has exhibited in several independent shows and larger mixed exhibitions. Highlights include, The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, Take back Control at The Crypt Gallery, Endless Looking at cARTon and Land and Sea at Slaughterhaus SW9.
Her work is held in private and public collections, including the UAL Collection.
Sarah teaches printmaking at Lewisham School of Art and Design – Adult Learning Lewisham, at schools and from her own studio in SE London.
